Volkswagen, shortened to VW, is a German automaker founded in 1937 by the German Labour Front, known for the iconic Beetle and headquartered in Wolfsburg. It is the flagship marque of the Volkswagen Group, the largest automaker by worldwide sales in 2016 and 2017.

Partner Role:

VW, as part of the industrial board, will focus on setting the programme specifications from an industrial perspective, as well as on providing feedback on the didactic approach, methodology and tools that will be developed. In addition, VW will have the option to offer appropriate “real-life” problems/ challenges to the developed TF network and call for solutions (outsourcing). Moreover, it is expected to use the developed methodology and tools to introduce RTD advancements to manufacturing practitioners, re-skill workers, and for technology transfer training projects, even after the end of the KAVA activity.
